As a Junior RoR Developer, you will work closely with senior developers and team leads to develop, test, and maintain web applications built on the Ruby on Rails framework.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain Ruby on Rails-based applications
- Collaborate with team members on the design and implementation of new features
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve issues
- Learn and apply new technologies and best practices
- Contribute to documentation and unit testing
Skills and Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and MVC frameworks
- Experience or familiarity with Ruby on Rails is a plus; willingness to learn RoR is essential
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Proficiency in using version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and willingness to learn from peers
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
